Annam Manthiram is the Chief External Affairs Officer at the North Texas Food Bank where she leads external engagement efforts including philanthropy, marketing and communications, volunteer engagement, and public policy. Her leadership also encompasses individual giving, corporate and foundation support, brand and messaging strategies, and board and advisory council relations.
A seasoned nonprofit leader, she brings extensive experience in strategic planning, fundraising, and addressing the needs of food-insecure and unhoused communities. Previously, she served as CEO of CitySquare (Dallas) and HopeWorks (Albuquerque), where she advanced initiatives supporting vulnerable populations. Annam is a certified fundraising professional with a Master of Arts in Professional Writing from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Literature/Writing from the University of California, San Diego. She is also a published author and the proud mom of two teenage boys and a cuddly fur baby (Smore).
