BOARD: Bill Jackson

Bill Jackson serves as Vice President of Dallas-Lubbock Regional Operations for Texas Mutual Insurance Company, where he leads a broad scope of underwriting, sales, marketing, and operational functions across one of the company’s largest regions. With more than 30 years of experience in commercial insurance, Bill brings deep expertise in workers’ compensation, risk management programs, agency relationships and operational leadership.

Before assuming his current role in 2013, Bill held senior positions at Texas Mutual such as Senior Manager of Underwriting & Marketing after earlier leadership roles at firms including Marsh and GAB Robins.

Bill’s professional journey began in a rather different arena: after 13 years in local broadcast television, he transitioned into insurance, citing the change as “one of the toughest challenges” of his career. This unique background lends him strong communication skills and a fresh perspective on stakeholder engagement and team leadership.

A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where he studied radio/TV journalism, Bill combines an analytical mindset with compelling storytelling a useful blend for driving results and guiding his region’s teams through competitive markets.

Outside of his day-to-day role, Bill is recognized for his commitment to community engagement and giving back, aligning with Texas Mutual’s focus on supporting Texas businesses and local economies
