Some of the best advocates for this work were never hired for it. They're the caregivers raising the youth in our program, and our new Family Ambassador Program was designed to recognize what they've been doing all along.

We're putting that experience front and center. Family Ambassadors are current caregivers who've chosen to speak for the program, talking with families who are new to it, showing up at community events, and telling donors and partners what long-term mentoring really looks like at their own kitchen tables.

This grows out of our two-generation approach, which means we support caregivers alongside their children, because a family's stability and a child's growth aren't separate projects. Ambassadors shape the role around their own schedules and comfort levels. Some answer the honest questions that only another parent can answer. Some take the microphone at events. All of them bring back feedback that helps us serve the families who come next.
